Does it suit or not? You tell me
January 27, 2008I picked up this little exercise in randomness from The Textual Deviant, a blog run by a friend of mine somewhat south and east of me. Fun.
instructions:
1 – Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 – Go to Random quotations: http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 – Go to flickr’s “explore the last seven days” http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
Put it all together, that’s your first album.
Looks and sounds rather new-agey. Probably acoustic instrumental/ folk with multi-cultural infusions. I almost hate to say it, but it kind of suits me.
Now all I have to do is find the musicians to back me. Any takers?

Well, for band name I got: The Edward Said National Conservatory of Music
And for album title: “I call it work”
If this says something about me, I’m not sure I want to know.
