Interesting, if a little silly
Sillier still – I actually have a “magic wand.” But it’s about 12 inches long or so, made of ash with a spiraling vine device burned into the wood along its length. I picked it up at a rennaissance faire several years ago, and it looks like a genuine “Harry Potter” world type wand. If it has a core, I have no idea what it it. Anyone out there who knows me care to suggest something? I think a feather from the wing of a Gryphon would be cool. Or perhaps dragon scale. From a Welsh Green, of course…
I actually used to wand at Halloween while handing out candy at the door. We did it up right – motion-sensing rocks along the path that lit up with things like “Beware!” and “Turn Back Now” while making spooky sounds. Strings of lights shaped like spiders, and two whole bags of webbing. A motion sensing ghostly skeletal figure hanging on the door that moved and gave out a truly evil sounding laugh when someone approached. A fire in the fireplace, weird music on the stereo, amd me sitting on a chair just inside the doorway with a candle the only illumination beside me. And I was wearing a long, hooded black robe with hanging sleeves, with some really cool knotwork designs in silver metallic thread. I had the hood pulled up so far over my face I could barely see out of it, and I’m sure the kids couldn’t see very much into it either. Mostly I just played the silent, ghostly figure, but I made an effort to mess with some of The Boy’s friends’ heads when they came to the door. This sometimes involved whipping out the wand, pointing it at their noses, and pronouncing weird-sounding and arcane invocations – before I broke down laughing, thus ruining the whole effect. Really, I just could not keep a straight face for more than 2 minutes of that. Probably a good thing, lest such behaviour gets me placed on some parental “banned” lists.

And here are mine….

You scored 52 wisdom, 33 bravery, 10 emotional, and 16 martyrdom!
Holly is a powerful protective wood that good for use against evil, but it also represents dreams and fertility. Your dragon’s heartstring core makes your wand very effective in hexes.
